Who doesn't love a little fantasy art? This is my attempt to use watercolors as if they were acrylic and to paint without first inking the drawing. Oh, look! a dragon!

Conceptually; an ode to The Rugrats (a popular cartoon in the nineties), but in execution and style, very different.

Cad E. Wampus is -perhaps- best at drawing animals and humorous situations which is something showcased here.

This character is basically a mash-up of a movie from 1959; The Waspwoman, and a popular girl band from the sixties. Can you guess which one?

I'm not sure what possessed me to do this one, but it was my attempt at a semi-realistic approach with ink and water color. Not too shabby, if I say so myself.

Be they furry, feathered, finned or fanged, Cad E. Wampus does his best put the personality of a pet into his paintings. Although he loves to work with charcoal, most of his work on animals has been in watercolor.

Classically trained, Cad E. Wampus also has a collection of charcoal drawings which explore contrast between organic and geometric shapes. They range in size and complexity but are each executed with the elements of design and format conformity in mind.
