Artist, Illustrator, Author, Concept Creator… Obsolete Child
Fascinated by goblins, ghouls, ghosts, and great stories, Cad E. Wampus turns these things in to the cute, the caring and the compatible. His children’s books often employ rhyme and rhythm, accompanied by his artwork to create an air of whimsical wonder and child-like fun.
In a more serious vein, his portfolio of charcoal drawings focus on the conflict between the organic and the geometric shapes. These art pieces are a direct result of his time at the University of Southern Mississippi where he received training in the finer points of composition and the elements of design.
However, his skills were put to the test in Taiwan where he taught English as a second language. His ability to draw quickly yet accurately came in handy when explaining certain words, not to mention the entertainment factor.
Now, Cad E. Wampus -a.k.a. Bill Sugg III- hopes to combine his artistic ability, his time in children’s education, and his language skills (particularly with rhymes and rhythm) into children’s books. He currently (as of 10/2022) has one book completed, though unpublished, and one on the way.
